probably circa 1842.single storey post-clearance cottage of 3 irregular bays,further additional bay to left is windowed only at rear.harled,whitewashed rubble.door to front NW elevation flanked by 2 windows.lean-to rubble addition to SW gable,wooden lean-to adjoining at rear.4-pane sash and case windows.renewed slates,2 harled stacks.range of associated outbuildings to N;single storey,rubble,with corrugated sheet metal roof.

the cottage was probably built when the local 'bailtean' were cleared in 1842 to create a single farm,with which the cottage was associated.
