Description

Built 1845 but attic recast circa 1900. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Red sandstone front elevation with rusticated quoins to ground floor, harled sides and rear. Centre door with console corniced doorpiece and block pediment; flanking 12-pane sash and case windows, 1st floor 3-light windows (circa 1900) break wallhead under boldly shaped dormerheads; overhanging eaves. Asymmetrically arranged windows in side elevations. Small extension to rear. Slate roof, corniced end stacks.

Built for a merchant later used as manse.
