Description

Late 18th century with later alterations. Single storey 3-bay cottage in row of same. Random rubble, red sandstone dressings, some renewed. Door to centre with single window to left. 3 light later canted bay to right. 4-pane glazing to sash and case windows , canted bay with plate glass to lower sash. Red pantiles, straight skews, brick stack. Much altered at rear with porch addition and large dormer to attic.

Statement of Interest

Built circa 1780 as feu from Kinloch of Gilmerton who encouraged the improvement of the village. B Group with adjoining 'Abbotsford Cottage' to W.
