Description

Circa 1790. Single span, round-headed arch road bridge. Rubble construction, dressed voussoirs with raised keystones, flat coping. Splayed approaches.

Statement of Interest

The bridge formerly carried the Dundee to Meigle and Coupar Angus Turnpike, constructed following the 1789 Turnpike Act; the road (B954) has been re-aligned. See also the bridge at East Adamston/
