Description

Probably circa 1880/90, by analogy with the church at Carloway, which is similar (if larger), and dated 1884. Box-type Gothic church with pointed openings throughout; modern dry-dash; original small-paned glazing - mostly sashes, gallery level window in gable-head of west entrance front with timber Y-tracery, doorway below also pointed, apex belfry above. Slated roof, with pair axial ventilators.

Outshot on south flank may not be original; modern-looking permieter wall, with lavatory block incorporated at front.
