Description

Dated 1868. Single storey L-plan school with mid 1970's 3-bay
extension to south gable, and adjoining single storey and
attic school master's house with projecting 2-bay south
gable. All coursed grey rubble with contrasting tooled ashlar
red sandstone dressings. Harled modern extension.
Transomed and mullioned window in school west gable, and
single bipartite in west elevation flanking entrance.
Wallhead bellcote at east.
Schoolmaster's house has entrance in SE re-entrant; bipartite
in south gable. 2- and 4-pane glazing; coped end stack; slate
roofs with projecting eaves.
