Description

Pair cottages, single storey and attic; tooled rubble,
bullfaced dressings, crowstepped gables.
The Cottage; dated 1868; 3 bays with centre door, 2
gabled wallhead dormers; 12-pane glazing.
Newton; dwelling at right angles to The Cottage; advanced
gabled front bay, with entrance in return SW elevation.
Gabled porch; large gabled dormer (with 1866 datestone)
with tripartite; 2-pane glazing; barred cell window
survives to rear.
Corniced end and ridge stacks slate roof.
Coped rubble front garden wall.

Statement of Interest

The Cottage has dormer gable initialled S for Sutherland.
