Description

Later 19th century, pair 2-storey cottages, each 4 bays.
Harled, tooled ashlar margins and dressings. Advanced
and crowstepped outer bays with shallow ashlar transomed
and mullioned bay window in ground floor, Keeper's
Cottage (east). Projecting gabled porches to each cottage;
3 finialled dormers rise through wallhead in each house;
lattice pane glazing survives in Keeper's Cottage Ridge
and end corniced stacks; slate roofs.
Single storey gabled wing to each cottage at east and
west gables. Front rubble retaining wall with ashlar cope
and spearhead railings enclosing paved terrace in front
of cottages.
