Description

Later 19th century; 2-storey bank with Manager's dwelling;
east elevation to main street, north return elevation to
Croyard Road, and south return elevation with entrance to
garden. Coursed red rubble with contrasting tooled sandstone
ashlar dressings.
Single angled bay at NE with entrance under round, key-
stoned head with tympanum carved with name and crest. All
ground floor windows round-headed with a similar keystone
detailing linked to continuous bandcourse encircling
building. Outer paired bays in east front in tripartite in
1st floor. Pedimented return elevation to Croyard Road with
single wide centre 1st floor tripartite.
Centre entrance to south return elevation masked by
substantial square single-storey porch with side entrance
and front window, also round-headed with keystone detailing.
Shallow advanced and pedimented centre bay. 4-pane glazing;
corniced stacks; piended platform slate roof.
Wing to rear.
Low retaining wall with spearhead railings front building.
