Description

Circa 1900. John Robertson, Inverness. Rectangular church
orientated E/W. rubble, tooled ashlar dressings. Gabled
porch projects at SW with pointed headed entrance; roll
moulded ashlar margins to doorway and to all windows. Large
pointed headed window in E gable, 3 smaller but similar in S
elevation; simple 3-light tracery; leaded-pane glazing.
Deep base course; apex finials; slate roof with projecting
eaves; red tiled ridge.
Interior; simple interior with braced timber roof with cusped
detailing and pine plank ceiling; cusped detailing to
panelled pulpit.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Credited to John

Robertson, Inverness on stylistic grounds. A good example

of his rural churches.
