Description

Originally later 18th century, but much altered with

extensions. All harled with contrasting painted tooled

ashlar margins 2-storey, 3 bay north facade; original

south 3-bay frontage with centre door masked by later 19th

2-storey asymmetrical wing with new entrance in shallow SW

re-entrant angle in projecting square porch. 12-pane

glazing; 2 original piended dormers in earlier portion of

house. Corniced end stacks; later 19th century skews and

skewputts; slate roofs.

Single storey, 3-bay service cottage at right angles to

east gable, with later door slapped in rear.

Long low single storey buttressed L-plan steading, gighouse; harled; slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Former Church of Scotland Manse Garden abuts old

graveyard, the site of an earlier parish church.
