Description

Mid-later 19th century, possibly incorporating earlier core,
but much remodelling including roof and chimney stacks;
various additions. All harled with painted margins. Mainly
4-pane sash and case windows. Slate roof tile ridges, coped
stacks.
S FACING BLOCK: 2-storey, 3-bay central door masked by
timber-framed, bargeboarded porch; 3 gablet dormer-heads
(? originally with bargeboards). Flat roofed rear extension.
N-S RANGE: adjoins E gable of S block projecting slightly
to S more to N. Single storey projection on S gable and
piend-roofed washhouse; 2 lower ranges to N stepped down.
Some 1st floor window-heads break eaves with shallow segment
heads.
