Description

Thomas Telford, 1808-11, twin arched rubble bridge; pair dressed rubble wide arch rings; triangular cutwaters rising to parapet height as buttresses; similarly detailed end buttresses; ashlar string course and parapet cope; sharply angled approach at south end. Later cast iron railings and lamp standards.

Statement of Interest

De-scheduled 23 February 1998. River Helmsdale formerly called the

Ullie. Helmsdale in Loth Parish until 1841.
