Description

Probably later 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, gable
end-type (Dalriadic). Rubble-built with very large roughly
squared dressings and quoins. Central door flanked by 2
4-pane sash windows, 1 small window to rear. Square end
stacks with concrete copes. Marram thatch over turf.
Unusually complete interior with simple chimney pieces
in each room, bed recess in one. Most walls and ceilings
timber lined. Adddition on left gable, 1 door and 1 window;
corrugated iron roof.
Single storey service wing set back to rear at NW gable,
now with large door slapped for garage use.
Coped rubble wall; simple monolith gate piers with pair
spearhead cast-iron gates, and matching pedestrian gate.
