Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse. Rubble whinstone with
ashlar dressings.
S ELEVATION: 3 bays grouped towards centre; modern porch
added at centre, entered on E return; original windows in
flanking bays and to each bay at 1st floor.
N ELEVATION: small windows to centre bay, blank to right bay
and later, stone catslide extension to left bay.
E GABLE: 1 window to each floor at outer right, and small
attic window; small window in catslide to right.
W GABLE: 1 window at each floor, off-centre to left, and
attic window.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Slate roof.
Brick end stacks.

Statement of Interest

Ruinous early steading to S, recorded by RCAHMS. Coped rubble

retaining walls to S.
