Description

Later 18th century, with mid 19th century wing and
alterations. 2-storey farmhouse. Rubble with painted margins.
S ELEVATION: irregular openings; drawing room wing projecting
off-centre to right; slate roof conservatory-porch added in
re-entrant angle; 1st floor windows of earlier house hard
under eaves and larger windows to 19th century wing, to S and
E return. 2 outer right bays with irregular openings,
probably added in late 18th century.
N ELEVATION: irregular openings; stair window inserted by
centre of earlier house; piend roofed porch added to outer
left and later flat-roofed outbuildings extending N. Variety
of glazing patterns, plate glass, 12-pane, to sash and case
windows. Grey slates. Shouldered wallhead stacks to 18th
century house, and gable end stacks to all.
INTERIOR: winding stair; fluted door jambs; fielded panelling
to window shutters of drawing room wing.
