Description

Probably mid 19th century, built as estate housing. Single storey, long and uniform cottage row, virtually unaltered, and in 2 blocks with a break about half way; 2-bay houses arranged in pairs, shallow-arched openings - doors with 3-pane fanlights, bipartite windows, timber- mullioned, sashes with 4-pane glazing pattern; each cottage has a single dormer, the ground floor glazing pattern reproduced to a smaller scale. Built of squared rubble, ashlar dressings, slate roofs; stacks over alternate common walls.

Common garden area at front, individual kitchen gardens beyond.
