Description

1825. Additions, 1841; further additions and alterations,
Andrew Maitland, 1857 and 1871. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay
with centre corniced door; harled with ashlar margins. Later
bipartite in ground floor, west bay. 3 piended dormers rise
through wallhead 12-pane glazing in front windows, 4-pane in
side and rear. Re-used classical portico borne on fluted
Corinthian columns at west gable entrance. Wing to rear;
corniced end stacks; slate roof. Much altered single storey
and attic wing at east gable.

Statement of Interest

Now divided into three dwellings. Classical portico at

(later) west gable entrance re-used from demolished property

in Dingwall.
