Description

Circa 1895, 2-storey and attic villa, 4 wide bays to south
facing asymmetrical elevat ion. Grey bull-faced rubble
contrasting red tooled ashlar dressings. Projecting outer
ground floor bays, linked by bracketed cornice below 1st
floor balcony forming covered veranda/porch. West bay canted,
east bay rectangular with corresponding projecting open
veranda bays at 1st floor supported on paired and triple
wooden columns with decorative in-fill detailing. Canted
angle bay rises full height at SE; 3 canted dormers with
multi-pane glazing; elsewhere multi-pane glazing in upper
lights. Canted cast-iron rhones with small anthemion
decoration; deep coved eaves gabled and piended slate roof.
