Description

Late 18th century, restored (after destruction by fire) by
Andrew Maitland, 1862. 2-storey, 11-bay stables, harled with
contrasting painted ashlar margins. Slightly advanced outer
bays with carriage houses and wide round-headed entrances;
round-headed entrances in bays 3 and 9; also 1 in pedimented
centre bay with loft door and occulus above. Small loft
windows at 1st floor; paired ridge stacks; slender centre
ridge cupola; piended slate roof.
Forestairs to loft at both gables.
