Description

Mid 18th century, largely reconstructed. Single storey, 3-
bay rubble cottage with turf gables at SW and NE. Entrance in
E outer bay; centre projecting gabled wing with small centre
window. Heather thatched roof with centre wooden ridge stack.

Statement of Interest

De-Scheduled 23 January 2002 (former SAM 968).

Kings Stable hollow; cottage known to have existed in 1746 and in use at time of Battle of Culloden. Parish boundary with Croy and Dalcross Parish runs along lane to cottage.
