Thomas Telford, 1810. Symmetrical 5-span bridge with slight
hump-back. All tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings.
Tooled ashlar arch rings, each defined by string course and
separated by triangular cutwaters rising to parapet height as
canted buttresses. Double string course; tooled ashlar cope
repaired occasionally with cast replacements and missing in
some sections. Splayed approaches with square terminal piers.
Later cast-iron guards fitted to upstream cutwaters.
Built by Commission for Highland Roads and Bridges for sum
of $8,800; Lord Lovat was liable for one half of this. River
Beauly forms boundary with Kilmorack Parish.
Excluded from Schedule of monuments, 5 October 1998.
