Description

A & W Reid, Elgin and Inverness, 1863. Pair 2-storey
cottages, each L-plan with paired gables fronting road to SE
and with entrances in re-entrant angles; harl pointed rubble
with tooled rubble dressings. Wide 3-light ground floor
windows in advanced gables with similar 2-light fenestration
in 1st floor above and in return gables; horizontal glazed
casement and sash windows with thick moulded wooden mullions;
centre ridge battery stacks; slate roof with projecting eaves.
Single storey lean-to harled extension to rear.
