Description

Circa 1860. 2-storey Swiss cottage style house; W facing
rectangular plan with rear E wing. Coursed rubble ground
floor with tooled rubble dressings; painted weather-boarded
1st floor encircled by wide verandah supported by decorative
brackets and silhouette balusters to wooden balustrade.
4-light windows with single pane glazing; deep projecting
eaves supported by shaped brackets (as verandah) and also by
angle posts rising from verandah balustrade. Slender wooden
apex finials; end and wallhead stacks with gablet caps
pierced by chimney cans; slate roof.

Probably originally fitted with lattice-pane glazing.
