Description

Thomas Mackenzie, 1848-51. E facing single storey and attic,
4-bay farmhouse of 2 builds. Harled, tooled ashlar margins
and dressings. Centre door in 3-bay block sheltered by
crowstepped gabled porch with round-headed entrance with
moulded margins and blind panel above; projecting rectangular
bay window to right.
Single storey and attic, single bay addition continuous with
frontage; 1st floor windows break wallhead under crowstepped
gablets; 2- and 12-pane glazing; moulded copes to margined
sandstone ridge; crowstepped gables.
Wing to rear.
Semi-circular drystone wall encloses garden fronting house.
