Description

1844, probably Thomas Mackenzie. 2-storey, asymmetrical S
facing 3-bay house. Mixed granite, tooled pink granite
dressings. Near centre entrance porch with round-headed
doorway and crowstepped gable in re-entrant angle formed by
shallow projecting gabled left bay. 2 1st floor windows just
break wallhead below crowstepped gablets. Single ground floor
windows in return gables; rear wing; re-entrant angle formed
at rear filled with lean-to extension. Mainly lying-pane
glazing; end stacks with pronounced copes; slate roof.
