Description

Circa 1800. Hollow square, single storey range built into W facing slope with main elevations N and W. Harled, contrasting painted ashlar margins. Irregular 4-bay elevations N and W with 2 doorways in N face and substantial squat wallhead stack serving fish-house at W. 4-pane glazing. Piended slate roofs.

Statement of Interest

2 vaulted ice-houses (somewhat altered) associated with salmon fishing sited to N of station; these are not included in listing. Building no longer in use as salmon station (1988).
