Description

Probably mainly of 1791. Symmetrical gates and lodges: plain circular ashlar gatepiers with coursed rubble screen walls to flanking lodges, coursed rubble, one-storey, with simple tripartite windows at front and broad-eaved piended roofs, original sashes; walls to north and south, rubble. Wall to south linking to Gannochy Bridge has moulded footgate, probably re-used from elsewhere. To north, public shelter, open sided, with pitched stone-slated roof, front with 2 columns supporting gable/pediment. Gardener's cottage, rubble, originally one storey,

2 windows and centre Venetian door with overarch set in slightly advanced centre bay, bracketed cornice; piend roof raised in earlier 19th century with 2 piended dormers, 4-pane sashes, slate roof.
