Description

Later 18th century with 19th century alterations. Former corn mill, neglected and overgrown. Random rubble, possibly formerly harled. Gable end to road with loading bay at 1st floor. Wooden lean-to addition at left. Wooden floors, and some machinery inside. Grey slates, coped skews.

Statement of Interest

Mill on the site since 1289 (Simpson). Still in use in 1936. Shown as a corn mill on the OS Map, 1871-4. Listed for survival of components and historical reasons. No longer in working use.
