Description

Late 18th/early 19th century 2-storey 3-bay cottage with late 19th-century alterations to 1st floor, giving timber dormers

breaking through eaves. Cottage flanked by single-storey

asymmetrical 2-bay service wings (that to left slightly

taller).

Cottage partially rendered rubble with smooth rusticated

quoins and polished margins; wings painted rubble.

Central projecting curved gabled porch with finial.

Round-arched doorway, semi-circular fanlight with decorative

astragals, panelled door. Sash and case windows with 4-pane

glazing. Dormers with timber gables and finials. Flat skews,

corniced end stacks, slate roofs.
