Description

Dated 1737 on door lintel. Long-abandoned former parish manse
with outbuildings. 2 storeys 3 bays. Rubble-built with ashlar
dressings, chamfered margins, ground floor openings with
relieving arches. Converted for agricultural use, rear (NW)
windows all blocked, interior mostly gutted. Slated roof not
original.
Pair parallel low outbuildings to S.

Statement of Interest

Category C(S) only because of poor condition. 1626 stone set

above door (see RCAHM INVENTORY, 1920, No 425).

Change of Category B to C(S) 22.2.88
