Early 18th century roadbridge carrying former line of main
N-S road over Evan Water at Beattock; disused since
construction of Thomas Telford's nearby replacement in 1819.
Single segmental arch high above river level; widened;
rubble-built with ashlar voussoirs; no parapets.
