Description

Later 19th century.

LODGE: single storey and attic, gabled, L-plan lodge. Squared and snecked rubble. Ashlar dressings: tabbed margins; long and short quoins.

S ELEVATION: gable advanced to right. Gabled stone porch in re-entrant angle, with door to S and window to left return. Bipartite window to left. Piended canted window to gable to right; window in gablehead.

W (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: gable to left. Tripartite window; moulded panel above; window in gablehead. Modern flat-roofed addition to left.

uPVC glazing with top hung upper sashes. Overhanging eaves. Small grey-green slates. Pierced terracotta ridge tiles.

WALLS AND GATEPIERS: low rubble walls; plain railings. 3 painted chamfered tapering conical-capped gatepiers. No gates.
