Description

Early 19th century. Single storey and later attic, 3-bay cottage. Rubble, rendered and lined to Main Street, painted to sides and rear, with contrasting red sandstone quoins, margins and base course. Door at centre, flanked by windows. Gabled, slate-hung dormers with finials above outer bays. Window in gable return to road junction, plate glass glazing. Rear elevation with door at centre flanked by windows. Sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing pattern to principal windows and dormers. End stacks with ashlar coping, each with 3 cans. Graded grey slates. Rooflight. Panelled door, with letterbox fanlight, approached by steps. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
