Description

Probably early 19th century. Large walled garden linked by stable/cottage block. Rubble walls approximately 14" high with coping, enclosing 2 compartments.

STABLES/COTTAGES: low 2-storey range, rubble with later cottage bays part-harled. Irregular openings with segmental carriage arches now blocked; hayloft windows under eaves above and swept hayloft dormer by cottage bays. Pend through in cottage addition, various windows.

Variety of glazing. Graded slates to stable bays with sandstone ridge and brick wallhead stack. Modern roofing to cottage bays and ridge stacks, later.
