Description

Later 19th century. Vehicular bridge over Corsewall Burn, on E-W axis. Single span, with low segmental arch. Rubble. Rubble voussoirs and coping. Low parapets, terminated by squat rubble drum piers, each with sandstone band courses and harled conical caps.

Statement of Interest

The Bridge carries the south drive of Corsewall House over Corsewall Burn. On the OS Map of 1847, the drive crosses the burn at the same point, but it is not known whether the bridge took its current form at that date.
