Description

18th century. Plain, 3-storey 3-bay house with 2-storey
single bay flanking wings. Rubble-built with ashlar
dressings; all painted with contrasting margins.
South elevation: 19th century corniced square central porch
(door in re-entrant angle), window left of latter now
bipartite; all windows 4-pane sashes including wings; small
lean-to adjoins east wing gable, evidence of corresponding
structure formerly adjoining west wing. North elevation:
roof swept over addition at left; few openings. Corniced end
stacks; straight skews; all roofed with graded slates.
