Description

Mid 19th century of 2 builds. Pair of single storey and
attic cottages, 3-bay dwelling linked to 2-bay Post
Office. Rubble, tooled rubble dressings, harled gable with
painted margins. Centre entrance in 3-bay house,
entrance to Post Office in E gable with flanking window.
4 gabled dormers break wallhead; 12-pane glazing in ground
floor, plate glass to PO, 4-pane in dormers. End and ridge
stack; decorative cast-iron finial at E gable apex (PO);
slate roofs with pottery ridge.
