Description

Large ruined (burnt 1866) mansion of several dates. L-plan
tower house S.E. probably 16th century, stair jamb appears
to have been added or rebuilt perhaps early 17th century.
S.W. wing was 2-storey 5-window with moulded doorpiece, now
largely fallen except for gable; N. wing probably late
18th century, 2-storey 5-bay centre and ends slightly
advanced, ground floor windows in arched recesses, arched
centre door flanked by narrow windows. Centre 1st floor
gone. Rubble with droved dressings.
