Description

John Honeyman, 1871. Large circular horsemill with cartshed and granary (L-plan range remaining). Squared and snecked rubble with stugged ashlar margins. Segmental cart arches. Voussoirs.

HORSEMILL: broad piers with timber-lintel openings (some part-blocked) support slated conical roof.

STEADING: slated with ashlar-coped skews.

NW ELEVATION: 3 blocked cart arches below square granary opening to left, further door and window openings (also blocked) to right with horsemill projecting beyond. Large square-headed opening part-blocked to outer right with hayloft door above.

NE ELEVATION: variety of elements to altered elevation including 4 (blocked) cart arches and granary openings.
