Description

1776. Oblong. Harled, slate roof. Belfry at N. end. Oculus at
S. gable. Round-headed windows. Gabled porch. Aisle (added
1842) contains vestry and Campbell of Jura's loft; chimney;
fore-stair. Plain interior, seated 1842; re-cast 1922; open
timber roof.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical, in use as such. Until 1861 the Parish

included Colonsay and Cronsay and was reckoned to be largest

in Great Britain.
