Description

Probably 1880, single storey 5 bay schoolhouse and school.
Rubble-built with ashlar dressings. Wide central gabled bay
with tripartite and blind oculus. Porch with swept roof in
left re-entrant angle tripartites in outer bays. Additional
schoolroom entrance recessed at right. Symmetrical 6-window
rear elevation. Over-hanging eaves, slate roof, 3 stacks set
behind good stone walls.

Statement of Interest

A good example of an immediately post-education act school,

little altered.
