Description

19th century, but unlikely, all to be one build. Corn mill,
disused since 1921 but retaining most of its original
machinery. 2 gabled ranges in L-plan. Single storey with
lofts; all rubble built. South range has cast-iron
breast-shot wheel on E gable, depressed-arched cartway faces
N, single south-facing opening near eaves. Range nearest N
has asymmetrical N gable built in to bank with loft door in
gable-head, lade carried along E flank, through fireclay pipe
above stone embankment. Slated roofs, ventilator on N range.
Interior remarkably complete.
