Description

Said to date from 1862, but may incorporate the missionary
church described in 1839 as "granted ... by the late proprietor,
A N MacLeod" (NSA, p158). T-plan church, close to shore
above Loch Tarbert; harled, with slate roof, modern glazing.
Body of church is deep on plan, segmental-arched windows,
belfry over west gable; jamb is on north flank, flat-lintelled
openings and main entrance. Gabled vestry central on south
flank, behind pulpit, and set close to shore above Loch Tarbert.
Interior: gallery in all 3 arms of the church, with splayed links at
the angles; supported on simplified (timber) Doric columns.
Centre mast-like roof support, bell-shaped at top.
