The 18th century walled garden at Auchlyne is situated immediately to the South of the house and is a simple rubble stone rectangular enclosure. The South wall is considerably lower than the other walls and was probably intended to maximise the effect of the sun. It has a simple gated pedestrian entrance. Attached to the outer face of the West wall is a rubble built kennels with a replacement corrugated roof and concrete pens topped by simple hooped iron railings. A walled garden formed an integral part of an estate and would have helped to provide year round fruit and vegetables for the estate as well as having an additional function as a place of recreation.

The low octagonal shed mentioned in the previous list description is no longer extant.
