Description

Earlier-mid 19th century traditional single storey, 3-bay cottage. White-washed rubble. Off centre door, rounded angles and battered walls. Centre stack; piended corrugated iron roof.

Statement of Interest

Restored c. 1980. Inhabitants of the township of Grulin "cleared" to Cleadale on the north side of Eigg in mid-later 19th century. Cottage is sole surviving dwelling of former township later used as shepherd's dwelling.
