Description

Early 19th century. Single span bridge. Rubble
sandstone, squared for parapet coping and voussoirs.
Tall semi-circular arch, with wrought-iron ties; simple
wrought-iron railings to low parapet.

Statement of Interest

Spanning Gifford Water. Mill House and Old Mill to NW, listed separately, with former smithy to SW, not included in current

listings. A 2nd bridge in Gifford on Station Road, is listed

separately.
