Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Squared and
coursed rubble sandstone with droved ashlar dressings. Sited
to NW of walled garden.
S ELEVATION: gabled timber porch added at centre with
decorative double-ogeed lintel and 2-leaf doors; large
windows flanking and smaller windows to outer bays at 1st
floor.
N ELEVATION: lean-to outbuildings at ground with door and 2
windows; 1st floor window at centre and to left.
W GABLE: single windows to left at both floors and indication
of former windows at centre.
E GABLE: blank, with serious crack apparent.
Horizontal-pane and small-pane glazing patterns to sash and
case windows. Ashlar coped skews; grey slates. Gable end
stacks, raised in brick.
