Description

Later 18th century, with later alterations and additions.
Single storey, 3-bay cottage. Pink sandstone rubble with
harl pointing; ashlar surround to lower door, other
openings cement rendered.
SE ELEVATION: door at centre, flanked to left by blocked,
lower, former door with enlarged window to outer bay,
and bipartite inserted to outer right.
NW ELEVATION: piend-roofed addition to left with windows
to each side and door in SW re-entrant; door at centre,
window above, and lower, slate-roofed lean-to to outer left.
Blank gable to Mid Green, with line of former lower
adjoining gable. Blank walls to NE side, with blocked
attic window.
Small-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
Distinctive East Lothian ashlar skew form; coped end
stacks. Pantiles.
