Description

Circa 1730. Large formal layout. Rusticated ball capped

gatepiers N.E. and S.W. of N. forecourt, another 2 pairs

corresponding to S. Large rubble-walled rectangular garden, symmetrically disposed doocot and gazebo (the latter with

doocot at roof) both rubble built square plan with pyramid

roof.

Statement of Interest

The lodges are early 19th century gothick but have been

considerably altered. The north has early 20th century

dormers added, the eastern has been mansarded.
